Hello! I am Clarice Stout, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have experience in helping clients of all ages and specialize in treating stress management, depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, trauma, adjustments, life transitions, OCD, addictive behaviors, & more. I use multiple therapeutic styles in order to best fit clients' needs! Some of those therapeutic styles are CBT, Motivational, Solution Focused, Grief work, & Psychodynamic, and more. Sometimes the stress & anxieties of life can be overwhelming. My aim is for all clients to feel comfortable and supported during their time of healing and growth in therapy.
I communicate with my clients in an honest & empathetic way, and I do a lot of reflective listening and reflective sharing with individuals in order to help clients build on their self-insight, while also creating a warm & safe therapeutic environment for everyone. My goal is to support all clients to move toward enduring growth.
In our first session, clients can expect a calm & inviting environment. After introducing ourselves and reviewing policies & reminders, I like to give my clients time & space to share why they are seeking mental health services & what their goals may be.
