Maybe you are struggling through school, overwhelmed by life stressors, or even find yourself coping with self-harming behaviors. Perhaps you are in a dark space and scared that you won’t be able to climb out alone. Being in that place can be scary, and lonely, and it can feel like things will never return to normal. Whether the place you have found yourself in was a result of trauma, depression, anxiety, or bullying - you don’t have to exist in this space forever.
I believe there is immense healing in sharing thoughts and processing them out loud, allowing them to exist outside of your head. I focus on creating a safe, supportive, judgment-free environment, working primarily with adolescents ages 8-17 and young adults on various concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, substance use, and self-esteem.
Apart from my assistance during our sessions, you'll also benefit from the presence of Molly, my therapy dog. Trained for Animal-Assisted Therapy, Molly will be by your side, offering comfort and quiet companionship. She's particularly good at helping to reduce stress levels.
