My experience is in supporting clients from a wide variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. I work to explore the complexity of diverse experiences with respect and honesty, and I have seen the power that people can bring to life, making their way through seemingly impossible situations.
I come from a narrative therapy perspective, bringing patience and curiosity to the process of change. I support clients in understanding the many experiences and contexts that influence their life stories. This helps to understand the challenges they have faced and the future they desire. I use CBT and experience in meditation and yoga strategies.
It is important to me to see the person as a whole, and I explore the connection between physical and emotional health and the significance that medical issues may play on a person’s well being.
