I take a systemic, whole-person in-context view to my work. My approach is not one-size-fits-all, rather, we build our plan of care together. Your input on how we work together and where we go with that work is a huge part of the process. I openly acknowledge the inherent power dynamic in the therapeutic relationship, and work to shift that into true relational work - we work as a team. I strive to help you discover your innate capacity to heal, to grow, and am explicit about the methods I use in session to help bring about this capacity. Consent and open dialogue are essential to our work together.
The main modalities I use are AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), Somatic Experiencing, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and PSIP (Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy). I specialize in mood disorders (e.g. anxiety and depression), trauma, grief and loss, and complex PTSD.

Groups
Grief Processing Through Connection Group
Through this group, participants will be able to 1) identify and cultivate an individual template of their internal grief process; and 2) distinguish and explore what gets in the way of experiencing and connecting to their emotions, selves, and others. This group will include: skills-based development; experiential learning; modeling; role playing; and small group discussions. Goals for participants: feeling their emotions and body; discern and clear obstacles to their internal grief process(es); identify barriers to being their authentic selves in relationships; move through a sense of stuckness; and take skills learned in this program out into the world.
