Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship issues, and couples. If you're here because you feel anxious, I'd like to name that there's plenty to be anxious about in the modern world! I focus on helping you develop skills to regulate when anxiety feels overwhelming, and on parsing out what's in or out of our control. If you're in a relationship, maybe you're tired of getting stuck in what feels like the same fight again and again. Using EFT, I love helping couples understand each other on a deeper level, and break out of feeling stuck.
My style is psychodynamic, relational, and somatically rooted using both the body and brain to generate healing. Some of my favorite modalities and theories include ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), attachment theory, and mindfulness.
Like healing, the therapy process is nonlinear, and the road can feel hard before it starts to even out. I am honored to sit with my clients in the uncertainty and hold space for this, until hope begins to come through. If you're feeling overwhelmed, you're not alone.
