My passion in life is helping others unlock the potential within themselves and build a life worth living. I see therapy as a collaborative process between client and therapist. One of my goals is to help you become more engaged in your life and in the therapeutic process. To me therapy is more than sitting in an office. I believe therapy is a dynamic process where I will teach you skills and help you practice them in your daily life. I will go through this process with you and we will practice skills learned in therapy together.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years, first as therapist and now as a psychologist. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy through TIC (5-Day Jump Start Core Clinical Skills) and Behavioral Tech (Online Skills Training) as well as certification in Neurolinguistic Programming and Ecopsychology (in progress).

I am passionate about treating the whole person and not just symptoms which is why I utilize both traditional and nontraditional therapeutic practices including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based therapies, nature therapy, movement therapy, energy healing therapies and mindfulness based therapies.
