Cindy Linares, MSW, LCSW 88214. I obtained my Master of Social Work from University of Southern California and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Child & Adolescent Development and minor in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. With extensive training and experience in the field of psychology and social services in the United States and abroad participation in Germany, I have gained experience working with children and families struggling with a range of socio-emotional, developmental, and behavioral problems at all stages of development.
I am familiar with working with a range of ages from adolescents to older adults as well as diverse backgrounds, multicultures, individuals, couples, and families. Honesty and transparency are highly important to gain growth and success. My goal is to create an easy, calm, and relaxed environment in a space dedicated to the client.
I believe I am eclectic and use a blend of dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions. I hold diagnostic and clinical skills and treatment is relationship based. I believe in a strengths-based approach that is holistic, eclectic, and guided by the individual needs of the client.
