My experience as a psychotherapist has affirmed my belief that each of us has a great capacity to change and grow. Therapy offers no magical solutions. Rather, it provides an opportunity for exploration. It is a chance for the client, with the therapist by her/his side, first to imagine and then to create the best path to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I believe that the key to a successful therapeutic experience is the strength and quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist. Building trust and rapport is always where I start. Treatment is tailored to the unique needs of each client and blends a variety of therapeutic approaches.
My experience covers a broad range of issues including mood disorders, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships and bereavement. A particular area of interest is working with families in transition.
