Welcome to Light Vision Counseling. I specialize in working with people who are struggling through difficult life changes, grief and loss, relationship challenges, or traumatic experiences that increase anxiety, stir up negative and ruminating thoughts, and seem overwhelming. I seek to provide an atmosphere where clients can feel safe and comfortable as, together, we develop practical skills and strategies which will empower them to regain a sense of control, clarity, hope, and renewed joy in living life. It would be my privilege to come alongside you to help you progress in your healing journey.
I utilize client-centered, strengths-based, treatment methods and therapeutic techniques that incorporate proven, effective, counseling approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, ACT, IFS, and narrative. I am trauma informed and trained in basic EMDR therapy. My approach tends to be more direct and structured.
Recognizing people as unique individuals with needs specific to their experiences, I partner with each client to establish a strong therapeutic relationship and specialized treatment plan. Together, we consider all possible strategies to determine your best path toward a renewed sense of wholeness and well-being.
