Life can be confusing, overwhelming, & mystifying. Maybe you feel worried, fearful, sad or lonely, & want to improve your emotional well-being. We are each a part of various systems (couple-hood, family, work, faith, community, school). Navigating those systems in healthy ways can feel confusing & difficult; therapy can help you develop insight, perspective, self-understanding, & coping skills to manage your life better.
I work virtually with children ages 9 and over, parents, couples, & individuals. I use combinations of psycho-education, boundary work, communication skills, talk therapy, expressive arts, setting behavioral goals, restructuring negative thought processes, & family of origin work (to help identify the impact of early family dynamics on current functioning)
I have a B.A degree in Developmental Psychology, an M.A degree in Family Systems & Counseling Psychology, & post-graduate training in Play Therapy. Ga License 01722 (1993); Play Therapy Supervisor Certification S515 (1998).
