Hello, I’m Ciarys and I am a licensed clinical social worker in California and Texas. As a therapist, I believe that a kind and supportive, client-focused approach is fundamental in helping navigate the many challenges that life can bring. My primary goal as a clinician is to help you manage and learn how to overcome symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and issues that arise from life transitions. You can expect to be able to build upon your strengths and skills, learn meaningful coping strategies, and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns all while feeling a sense of empowerment.
I earned my Bachelor in Psychology with a Minor in Chicano/Studies at the University of California Los Angeles in 2012 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Southern California in 2018. As a Latina woman, I have had the privilege of serving the Spanish-speaking community and English-speakers of all different races and backgrounds.
I like to provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive space where we can explore and address the various thoughts, emotions, experiences, etc. that pose a challenge in everyday life. I take pride in being able to meet my clients where they are at as we explore what therapy has to offer.
