I am experienced working with clients of diverse backgrounds, ages, and customs with a range of concerns from relationships, anxiety, depression, grief, perinatal & parenting issues, and trauma. I am passionate about this work and what can be accomplished in a non-judgmental, respectful alliance. I believe counseling is a collaborative process and starts in the first session as we work together to understand your concerns. I am committed to providing a supportive, and safe space to help you uncover the things that are getting in the way of your happiness and well-being.
I work from a psychodynamic approach guided by empathy, where you can speak freely about what is weighing upon you, including current stressors, fears, feelings, and early life experiences. I provide a warm, authentic and creative environment to help you gain deeper insight and self-knowledge, as well as build skills and confidence to move forward.
The therapeutic relationship is key to treatment, so good fit and communication are essential in this work. I will respect each individual's pace and boundaries while supporting you in building self-confidence, better use of your natural abilities and strengths, improving your capacity for more satisfying relationships, and pursuit of personal goals.
