When it comes to therapy, there’s no ‘one’ way to do it. Everyone has their own challenges, strengths, and needs. That means that the most important tool I have is my relationship with those I aim to help. I will work with you to identify ways to meet your goals together. I currently specialize in trauma, OCD, and couples counseling. My priority is to make clients feel safe and comfortable and use a client centered approach, by working with whatever methods are most fitting.
I recognize the importance of the trust needed in therapy, and I truly believe that honesty and a strong relationship between the therapist and client essential in the therapy.
My goal is to empower clients to make the change they want to see. Through education of cognitive distortions, realization of behavioral patterns, goal development, and coping skills, I strive to help each of my clients achieve a better quality of life.
