How do you care for yourself? How do you deal with adversity especially when your struggling? All of us have a tendency to latch on to reasons of why we do what we do, but sometimes these reasons aren’t always true and can actually cause us and those we love more suffering. I look forward to working with you on any issue, in a safe confidential space. I have a collaborative style that focuses on the goals of healthy processing, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental and empowering environment for my clients, in which I let the client guide me in building a trusting, open, and positive relationship upon which we can both work to find the best treatment.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Central Texas. After graduate school, I worked in the sexual assault and domestic violence fields for six years. Nine years prior, I worked as a domestic violence advocate, case manager, and chemical dependency counselor. I've specialized in treating sexual offenders and I'm an LSOTP.
