Hi, my name is Christine Terry LCSW (CA73509). I have been in the field of mental health for over 10 years and fully licensed for 8. I have an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities to fit the needs of the client. We always figure out a way. Most of my experience is working with women with severe PTSD and self-harm behaviors. Whatever you perceive as your ugly, it is safe with me and you are no longer alone. In addition to PTSD, I have worked with individuals with adjustment concerns, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and a range of diagnoses.
It's important to me that no matter what the goal or motivation for seeking therapy that when you leave a session you feel seen and heard. That you feel like you have a solid plan for walking through your circumstances. Life can be a challenge, but therapy doesn't have to be.
My goal in each session is to make sure you leave feeling seen and heard. I'm an empathic listener, direct, and with a sense of humor. I'm another human, just like you.
