We all have something we struggle with and can often find ways of dealing with it. Sometimes how we have dealt with things are no longer effective and it's time to find alternatives. Things from your past or recent experience can bubble up and keep you in patterns of distressful thinking, emotions, and behaviors. I believe that understanding yourself on a deep level enables you to see the path to improved living and more positive emotions while being patient with the negative emotions. I have been practicing since 2020 with people between 18 and 55 years old with a variety of struggles including depression, anxiety, BPD, and PTSD.
I offer a variety of options and together we will figure out what works best for you. However, my specialty is working with trauma and PTSD and I most often use Cognitive Processing Therapy to guide people out of the past an into the here and now.
Having someone witness as you explore and express your thoughts and emotions is a profound experience and I am honored to get to be that witness and a safe place for others.
