My name is Christine LaPorte and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Nevada. I work with clients of all ages and specialize in anxiety, stress, life changes and trauma. I use Person Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapy to help clients have the capacity for growth and progress towards their goals .
My therapeutic approach varies to best meet the needs of the client. I use an integrated approach which may include Person Centered, CBT, Solution Focused, and EMDR to help clients gain more control over their lives, and help them find the courage and self- esteem to be the master of their destiny.
I will always meet my clients where they are at and support the goals they want to achieve in their lives. I will build a good rapport and level of trust with my client and help them feel comfortable being in therapy and work together to set achievable goals and regularly review their progress towards those goals.
