In all phases of life, we face constant change and unexpected circumstances. Even for those who are strongly independent and resilient, life can be overwhelming at times. Therapy can be a space to explore the parts of life that feel uncertain and unmanageable, and identify where you want to go from here. Building the foundation for growth in therapy starts by creating a safe, genuine space where people can feel heard, understood, and valued for the person they are. I believe that people can foster long-term growth through understanding their journey, connecting with their true emotions, and empowering choice with authenticity.
My approach promotes curiosity to help clients recognize where unhelpful patterns exist, understand the roots, and unload what is not helpful. When more than talk-therapy is needed, I use art therapy and EMDR to help clients release the weight of the past. This can help support new ways living that are in sync with who you are and who you'd like to become.
As your therapist, my purpose is to hold the space and honor your journey with you. I am passionate about working with individuals to find long-term restorative healing following trauma. Together, we can explore all the roots, the layers, and how you want to grow.
