I am a concerned, committed psychotherapist, with 30 years of experience with adults, teens, families and elderly clients. With compassion and care, I walk with my clients through their issues and traumas, until their crises and pain have passed, and new life has taken root. I thoroughly enjoy helping people to resolve the difficult issues which cloud their lives. I work together with my clients to open new avenues to happiness, to reach their goals and dreams, and to bring peace into their lives.
My specialties, Psychodynamic & Experiential Therapy, are methods which help connect clients with buried emotions & thoughts, and assist in uncovering emotional disturbances, pain, & traumas. My goals of emotional growth and relationship pattern changes are facilitated, naturally, when not impeded by wounds of past negative experiences & trauma.
I understand how my clients need time to slowly, gradually build trust before feeling ready to open up emotionally. I follow my client's pace, with supportive encouragement, to help them feel safe to share their innermost thoughts and feelings. I empower my trauma clients to be Survivors, who change and grow strong through their therapy experience.
