I believe my training and experience has prepared me for working with individuals and families. I have specializations in older children, adolescents and adults dealing with having feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, low self-esteem, loneliness and isolation, and excessive worry and anxiety. Including those with issues of self-harm,impulsivity, experiences w/bullying, trauma, anger, and self-esteem. Also, those working through transitions such as life-stage transitions, relationship changes, boundary setting, grief and loss, divorce and blended families.
It's my goal to work with children & adolescents along w/ families in order strengthen relationships and bring peace to the home. Using various modalities to help clients, but utilmately it is the relationship that heals. Also, trained as spiritual sensitive therapist, if desired, incorporating faith into therapy can be beneficial to true healing.
Many years being in this field with people during deep brokenness, seeing hope of healing has resulted in an appreciation for the human capacity for healing. I consider it honoring to walk together through difficult experiences towards healing and restoration. Clients come for a reason, being a therapist is a privilege.
