Dr. Christian Trausch is a licensed clinical forensic psychologist (PSY27219) with experience working with the Department of Corrections, the Department of State Hospitals, and Community support groups for alternative lifestyles such as polyamory and relationship anarchy. My preferred therapy modality is Schema Therapy, a third-wave therapy that integrates psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and gestalt principles. I believe that good therapy needs to go beyond just changing thoughts and behavior. I believe self-exploration and deep personal insight are required for personal growth and prosperity.
I have worked side-by-side with law enforcement officers, and I have specialized training in the treatment of first responders. I also have extensive experience with alternative lifestyle relationships, such as polyamory, and relationship anarchy.
I am calm, empathic, and supportive, but continually challenge the patients' beliefs about themselves in a kind and playful way. I support deep-guided self-exploration to identify the roots of personality and behavioral traits. This includes image and memory work with role-plays.
