I love sitting with everyone. God gave me the passion to sit with people and listen. I love to sit with children and teenagers, young adults and older adults. Recognizing that people are broken, I am blessed to sit with them to try and help them along. Realizing the answers lie within but sometimes help is needed to highlight those answers. I daily pray for wisdom and discernment to help those that come to me, put the pieces of the puzzle back together.

Beginning counseling can be a difficult, sometimes scary step. I want to walk that journey with you. I believe in a therapeutic relationship that fosters trust and respect. I desire to help you find health and wholeness through finding balance in your mental, physical, and spiritual health. You will find a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere when you enter my office. I work with teens, adults, families and couples looking to navigate life's transitions, learn to cope with anxiety and depression, strengthen bonds, learn effective communication skills and heal through trauma to mental wellness. I am looking for clients who want to feel better, who will do the work to get to the other side, of whatever is holding you back from being happy and well. I work with people ready for a real positive change, be that from day to day anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, relationship struggles or negative family dynamics.

My favorite part of what I do is getting to hear other people’s stories and how they came to be at the place that they are right now. All of us, including myself, have been through times when we’re hurting and we don’t know what direction to go. I often say, “The thing that is worse than hurting is hurting alone.” One of the biggest benefits of counseling is connection. I believe connection is more healing than any pill, program, or self-help book. That’s why I take being invited into my clients’ stories very seriously. It’s an honor to get to walk alongside folks as they decide to get to the hard work of making changes and healing.

I typically work with issues concerning life transitions, addiction, couples conflict, and Family of Origin. I also love working with clients looking to detransition/desist. I have significant experience working with complex cases. Each client brings their individual stories into the room. By the time we seek help, life has typically not been going as we expected. We want to find a way out, but are unsure how to do so. What we need is someone to help us be a guide through to recovery. This is a life-long change that will need continued support. Not only is this our battle, but the battle of those around us.

My calling now is to walk together with those who seek freedom, faith, and hope that can be found in Jesus and his blue print for the abundant life.
