Humans were created with three parts - spirit, soul, and body. How we navigate those three areas will, in large, determine our current functioning and overall journey. Caleb is Christian Counselor, a Certified Sex Addiction Counselor (CSAT), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional (CAIMHP), Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (CASDCS), and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). Caleb specializes in helping men work through addiction recovery, anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. His passion is to provide a safe space for his clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

My desire is to bring care and compassion into the counseling relationship. I believe there is hope in breaking free from pain and fear, ultimately bringing about a life of purpose and joy. I bring with me experience in family relationships, raising children (who are now all adults), and marriage. Life in the military also brings with it the experience of instability and change in family and relationships. Do you feel pain? Emotional and psychological pain are as damaging to a person as physical pain. And, avoiding pain through unhealthy distractions never works. The roller coaster ride associated with trauma can be very overwhelming – leading to feelings of pain. Drugs and behavioral addictions, risky behaviors, and unhealthy thinking only act as a temporary Band-Aid – they are not the solution to the difficulties and pain you are facing.

When a new client first walks through my office door, one of the initial things I tell them is that by seeking help they have already solved a good portion of their issue. The fact that you have enough courage, strength, humility and self awareness to seek help is a great place to start. It has been an honor for more than 20 years to serve couples and individuals who are struggling with infidelity, sex addiction, substance addiction, intimacy anorexia and intimacy issues. I have also helped men with masculinity issues, intimacy issues and understanding their purpose in life, relationships and community.

I love supporting children, families and individuals through a holistic lens. I know how change, stress, and relationships can be difficult to navigate at times. I can provide support for many concerns including: anxiety, depression, divorce, chronic illness, attachment, trauma, transitions, birth and postpartum, adoption and foster care. If you are seeking support, change or a safe place we can navigate this together.

My ideal client is someone who is struggling from anxiety, depression, and/or the effects of past trauma. I work best with clients who are open to accepting their own responsibility to change, and are ready to recover control of their own life from the things which have held them back from how they want to live. I have a special passion and training to work with those who have undergone spiritual abuse/trauma, which is any harmful use of power and control experienced within a faith tradition.
