I am someone who "gets it" as a parent, and therapist, My focus on helping others with anxiety and depression. I specialize in grieving the "loss of normal", since I have worked with those who have gone through major life changes, those diagnosed with serious illness, and those grieving loss through divorce or death. Many times we have to deal with those losses in order to decrease anxiety and depression symptoms. I will partner with you to walk through whatever brought you to ask for support.
I enjoy working with individuals who need support- and I utilize a strengths persoective. I have worked with "kids from hard places" (adoption and foster care), caregivers for those with special needs or medical needs. I have worked with families who are grieving the loss of someone close to them and families who are grieving the loss of "normal".
