Although each human experience and journey is unique, they are closely intertwined with others. Most of the struggles that a person seeks therapeutic services for are not isolated to them, one situation, nor issue. I truly seek a holistic and eclectic approach allowing for individualized care that can have a greater impact in providing hope and change. Through my training and various experiences, I have found many innovative ways in treating families, adults, adolescents, young adults, and couples that are struggling with: depression, anxiety, addiction, family discord, grief, mental and behavioral issues, and failure to launch.
I am thoroughly trained in and employ several modalities of evidence-based treatment: Solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral skills, motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, family and relationship systems theory, Recovery Dynamics, and Brainspotting.
Balance is one of the most important factors determining a healthy life. In my pursuit of life balance, I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend valuable time doing various activities, i.e., dancing, fishing, hunting, sports, hiking, and camping. I also find accomplishment serving in different capacities in my community and church.
