At Mainspring, we believe that working with a therapist should be straight-forward and confusion free. The Mainspring Model of therapy relies solely on treatment that, supported by current research, is proven to be effective. We'll work each week to build an understanding of your emotions and how best interact with them. We'll also work on best ways to approach problems, interact with others, and make value-based decisions.
In the end, we hope that the symptoms that brought you in have mostly gone away and you feel confident in the skills you’ve built. We know, though, that progress isn’t always linear and we hope to be an ongoing resource. Reaching out to your therapist when you’re feeling overwhelmed should be as normal as going to the doctor when you have a sore throat.
