The folks I work with are typically coping with the effects trauma and are wanting to re-process using EMDR. They are typically LGBTQIA+ folks, neuro-divergent, & have varying ways of life. They are people struggling with generalized and social anxiety, Grief, PTSD, or ADHD. In addition to being a counselor, I am also an End of Life Doula so I have knowledge in supporting people who have loved one's at the end of life. I also enjoy working with folks who like to utilize Astrology and Tarot in their therapy journey if it is within their pre-established belief system. Please note that I only see adults 18+.
I typically use a combination of Internal Family Systems, mindfulness techniques, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing as my primary modalities. I am client centered at my core, so whatever modality works best for the client is the one that we use (within my scope of practice).
