I enjoy helping people find ways to make positive changes. My clients initially come to their first session with depression, anxiety, and frustration. They are trying to juggle family issues, along with financial and personal issues. Most people need effective skills to help them manage life with less frustration and stress, along with methods to improve their decision-making, thus improving the quality of their life.
The best question to ask anyone is, "how can I help you?" I offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy. DBT is a skill based approach that uses worksheets, daily practice and tracking. DBT gives my clients ways to improve their relationships, manage their emotions, improve their decision-making and tolerate the extremely stressful situations in life.
My lifetime's experience, along with my education, has built a foundation that helps me understand the pain and trauma we endure. I believe strengthening a persons self-worth, increasing their ability to tolerate stress and to manage life at its worst, is a skill...to be learned, and practiced, with the result of an amazing transformation of a happier you.
