I believe parents possess tremendous power to influence their child's well-being. By just "Tuning up" our parenting a bit, we can tremendously benefit our child's behavior & emotional well-being. My objective is to help individuals, couples, & families to move through conflicts and navigate difficult situations. With my support, we will work together & help your child and/or adolescents learn how to regulate themselves, reverse problem behaviors, and feel empowered.
I utilize a strength-based approach and I integrate a number of modalities including CBT. I specialize in mens issues, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, HF ASD, as well as family training in conflict management. I also have extensive experience with behavioral issues, mood disorders, social deficits and educationally related concerns.
I look at behaviors as adaptive & acknowledge the importance of the behavior even if it is causing challenges. The goal is to find alternate, more effective ways of being. I will work with you to find immediate concrete solutions and address underlying issues to enable long-term positive change and to restore peace in your home.
