Some barriers include: anxiety, clinical depression, alcohol and/or substance use and abuse, family and relationship discord, work/school difficulties, self-esteem issues and adjustment difficulties. I believe that one's experience in therapy needs to be tailored to the needs of the individual. I work with each client to help identify their specific goals of therapy to allow for growth and success.
