My name is Chika. I am a Master's level, Licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor/clinician/therapist. Who said once an addict is always an addict. My primary goal/concern is to help discover who you are before recovery. To help you identify your triggers and situations/events that could endanger continued abstinence. To cope rather than using illicit substances by tapping in your inner strength. To help/assist people struggling with Career Difficulties, Addiction /Substance Use/Co-Occurring, Anger Management, Anxiety, Codependence, Coping Skills, Depression, Stress Management & Mood Disorders. A minimum of 6 months for best results.
Confidentiality is the key to the job I do. A crucial part of successful therapy is building trust and rapport. I create a non-judgmental atmosphere for my clients. I have total of 26 yr.s experience in the human services field, working as a rehab. counselor and clinician.My specialty is working with people with alcohol & other substance use disorders.
