I love working with children and adolescents, as well as young adults transitioning into adulthood. I have extensively worked with clients with ADHD and Autism, as well as children experiencing all types of life transitions, from military families with a parent being deployed, families facing separation and divorce, loss of a family member, and also living in a foster home. All of these situations come with complicated emotions, I work with children and their families to help understand these emotions and the best ways to manage these emotions.
I am a person/child-centered therapist. In my office you will find a wide range of toys and games that allow children to explore and express themselves through play. I also incorporate art into my therapy, and more traditional modalities such as CBT and REBT. I also enjoy parent coaching to help parents understand how to help their children at home.
