Cheyanne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UT-Tyler in 2021 where she graduated with honors as a member of Chi Sigma Iota- Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. Cheyanne is also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and has experience working with individuals ages 12 and up who struggle with addiction.
Cheyanne uses an existential approach in therapy. This approach, coupled with interventions from Narrative Therapy, Strengths based therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems assists her in adjusting therapy to the specific needs of each client. Cheyanne has also received training in trauma focused CBT.
