I am a Licensed Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked with individuals, couples, groups, and institutions, on mental health, sexuality, and faith formation. In each capacity, I am driven singularly by my core passion: helping people develop healthy, liberating, and pleasurable relationships with the divine, self, and others. I earned a BA in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. My education, training, and experience frame my work that intersects counseling, sexuality, spirituality, and faith formation
My primary focus is on couples and relationships at any stage and with any configuration. I believe clients and I work together to explore their values, patterns, needs, and goals. I advocate for sex-positive sexuality education throughout the lifespan and have additional training to help people with various sexuality concerns.
Using a combination of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and skills as a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, I aim to help people live fully integrated & holistic lives without shame or guilt. Whatever their identities, I want people to know they have been “fearfully & wonderfully” made & are loved as they are.
