I believe that unhealthy behavioral patterns are often an individual's attempt to fill a void resulting from dissatisfaction in career, relationships, finances, spirituality, or life purpose. Healing happens when individuals begin to understand where their issues are coming from, thus allowing them to gain control over their mind and body and ultimately mastery over their lives.
