I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum and their families. I operate from a neurodiverse framework; my main goal is to help my clients thrive by living a life in harmony with their strengths, values, and goals. I believe my clients are expert in their own experience, and my mission is to assist them in discovering their strengths and to help them learn ways to effectively manage the challenges associated with being on the spectrum. My specialties include dual diagnosis of autism and a mental health condition, late diagnosis of autism, and adolescents and adults with a new diagnosis of autism.
I hold advanced certifications in Autism, Anxiety, ADHD and Trauma. I utilize strength-based therapeutic techniques and tools adapted to target the specific mental health needs of individuals with autism, including anxiety and depression protocols, CBT and DBT, emotion regulation tools, meltdown management, and autistic burnout prevention and recovery.
I am a clinical consultant on the dual diagnosis of autism and mental health for Florida Atlantic University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), and President of the Board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Palm Beach County (NAMI).
