As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I empower participants to partner with me to reach their goals and objectives in therapy. Dealing with unresolved trauma, struggling with life transitions, trying to manage anger, stress, depression or anxiety on your own can all be overwhelming. I enjoy assisting clients with learning stress management and mindfulness techniques, as well as helping them to discover ways to cope and address mental barriers they are facing in life. Also, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS).
In our first session together, we'll take some time to get to know each other. I'll start by introducing myself and explaining a bit about how therapy works. Then, I'll ask you some questions to understand what's been going on and what brings you here.
As a provider that has worked with hundreds of clients, my strengths lie in my ability to truly understand and empathize with my clients' struggles. I listen attentively and create a safe space where they feel comfortable opening up. I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs and work collaboratively with them to set goals and find solutions.
