Life can be stressful. We need to manage our lives, emotions and behaviors. Sometimes things happen outside of our control that complicate things even more. I see my role as a partner in helping individuals find the strategies needed to navigate life’s challenges in a healthy and productive manner. I work with individuals as they discover and explore their most authentic selves and how to limit the barriers to achieving their goals. I believe that the ultimate power is within ourselves and therefore will work with you to develop a plan that is realistic for your life and builds on your strengths.
I have been working in the field of social work since 2006 and have held a variety of roles. This experience has given me a broad view of the inner workings of the system and an appreciation for the experiences of my clients.
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and my goal is to create a safe space for individuals to feel supported as they explore what they need to do to move forward in a healthy manner. Taking the first step in the therapy process can be daunting. I am more than happy to chat to see if I may feel like the right fit for you.
