Oftentimes, "counseling" has a negative connotation - counseling is for people who have something "wrong" with them, or it's for people too weak to handle their problems on their own. I don't buy that. We live in a hurried and difficult world. Pain and confusion seem to shadow us wherever we go. Sometimes our relationships slip. Sometimes we find ourselves puzzled about meaning and purpose. Sometimes we just need someone to help us make healthy choices.
