I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah. I love working with clients that come from different cultural backgrounds and clients who face adversity. I am passionate about providing culturally competent & collaborative services. I am also passionate about diminishing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and services within my community. I have experience working with the marginalized population & have helped my clients work through challenges of depression, anxiety, trauma, discrimination, self esteem, grief, & difficult life transitions. My experience includes working with children/teens,families, & adults.
I understand that beginning therapy can be scary & intimidating. Taking up space & speaking your truth is no small task especially when experiences that may be distressing or painful are involved but, this process isn't something that you have to tackle on by yourself. I strive to provide a safe space where we can work on the process of healing & growth.
