Hi! My name is Chelsea Mattiello, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I honor you as a unique individual with your own intersection of identities, pain, perceptions, and experiences of the world and I believe your past helps to tell your current story. My approach to therapy is flexible though I commonly utilize the following theories: Person-Centered (allowing you to find your own answers), Acceptance and Commitment (finding value-based intentional action), and Strength-Based (identifying your internal resourcefulness).
My client base includes those who have or are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relational stressors, internal conflict, life transition obstacles, and women's issues. I have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, teens, adults, and families and I am trained in Family Systems and DBT.
I am known to use humor in my sessions when appropriate and enjoy learning your personality too! I commit to meeting you where you are at, holding space as you move at your own pace and gently challenging your comfort zones. Therapy is a gift to yourself, and I welcome you!
