I work with those who are craving a new route in life, one of personal evolution, embodiment, and choice. Life’s journey can present challenges, resulting in difficulty. Having the space to safely process your experiences can help you grow a greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. As a trauma-informed clinician I prioritize safety, choice, and collaboration in our work together. I am a queer-identified, curious, humorous, collaborative, and warm therapist who believes in therapy as a healing and transformative practice.
From a holistic framework I consider your larger context - how your history, community, family, socio-political systems, and culture - interact with your multiple, intersecting identities. So much of what we believe about our possibilities and potentialities is due to sociocultural conditioning and painful past experiences.
My person-centered practice focuses on the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle to increase your self awareness and ability to heal through connection. I draw upon my trainings in EMDR, IFS, art therapy, somatic therapy, astro-therapy, and attachment theory to support my clients. I work with adults and adolescents.
