I see clients from all walks of life dealing with many different struggles and issues. I find most people are often just trying to manage the stresses of everyday life, overcome negative habits, or find closure and peace with past trauma. Often they just want to find new and better ways to cope or be able to change how they think and feel.
Therapy is individualized and personal, and there is no one strategy that works for everyone. That is why employ a number of strategies from different therapeutic approaches and my experience to help you retrain your brain to better manage life. Specifically I tend to utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and ACT modalities.
