I have over 35 years of experience as a psychologist, some of it abroad, working with people from varied cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds toward improving their lives.
My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, with cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness tools used where appropriate. My style is active and collaborative while respecting differences of cultural orientation. My own cross-cultural experience includes a three-year stint in China, a year in France and one academic semester in Germany.
