Hello! I am Charlie Alarie, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people rediscover the peace and joy inherent in the world around them with grace, humor, and kindness. I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and post-traumatic stress. Additionally, I have many years of experience working with folks struggling with Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum disorders, addiction, and family members supporting those struggling with severe and persistent mental health challenges.
I have personal experience which has fostered a sensitivity to the special needs of first responders, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and fire professionals. I have extensive experience assisting folks in overcoming tremendous challenges and seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
I draw from a variety of approaches to best meet the needs of the individual with a foundational belief that we all have the recipe for healing within. I utilize a combination of basic biofeedback techniques, mindfulness practices, psychodynamic work, somatic awareness, and a whole health approach to foster lasting, sustainable healing and growth.
