Hi there; My name is Charles A. Weinberg, LCSW/R, FAPA, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/R therapist based in New York. In the past 38+ years, I have worked with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families seeking counseling, both inline, online, and in my private and Government practices. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including trauma or emotional abuse, stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adolescent issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and other presentations.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including trauma and emotional abuse, stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adolescent issues, parenting problems, career challenges, sexual identity, and other presentations. Additionally, but not exclusively, I also have worked with many uniformed first responders and military.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment. In addition to dialogue, I use homework assignments to supplement therapy. Most only take up to 15 to 30 minutes and are aimed at helping us to think through issues.
