Charisse graduated from Stony Brook University with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, later going on to obtain her graduate degree in social work with a focus in Individual and Family counseling from Hunter College. Charisse has devoted her entire career to the fields of social services and mental health for over a decade within various diverse settings such as a hospital, mobile crisis team, outpatient treatment, and non-profit community agencies.
Having a range of work experience has allowed Charisse the opportunity to work with a wide range of people, with various challenges. Ultimately Charisse's passion is to help others.
