Even the strongest people I know have times of doubt, low self-confidence, and even guilt. Perhaps you feel capable in certain areas of your life while at a loss in others. I have a unique perspective as both a mother and former first-responder. While those may seem like very different experiences, they have a lot in common. There are many highs, lows, moments of reward and moments where you feel you just can’t keep going, and yet you do. I specialize in areas that may or may not overlap, including treating first-responders, mothers, and others who need support and guidance moving forward.
I want you to feel that you can be yourself. That might involve dark humor (which I find helpful myself), expressing anger, or sharing parts of yourself that you’ve been afraid to open up about before. I often help people process certain memories they’re stuck on or need to work through in order to find relief from high anxiety or PTSD.
It takes a lot of strength to spend your life helping and protecting others. I believe finding support is a sign of strength as well because it means you’re not giving up.
