My name is Chanta Virden I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work to create and foster an environment in which my clients feel safe unpacking and processing their depression, anxiety, trauma, and other things that may cause an interruption in life. I treat individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life issues.
When it comes to the client setting goals for their therapeutic journey, I approach it as a partnership. I ask the client what is important to them and what they need to on in their life.
During the first session, clients should expect a warm and nurturing environment. We will spend the majority of our time talking and getting to know each other. I will ask questions to get a better understanding of what the client is looking for and what support they will need from me.
