I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Connecticut. I have over twenty years of experience working with many different populations, ages and backgrounds. It takes strength to recognize that there is emotional work to do, so I congratulate you on your first step. Even those of us who appear to have it all together often struggle silently. I help guide clients through their pain and into a space where we can collaboratively work towards achieving their goals.
Through a culturally-affirming and healing centered place, I utilize evidence-based treatments to facilitate our work. My areas of specialty is faith affirming therapy, stress, anxiety, trauma, depression and parenting issues. The treatment modalities I use are Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to name a few.
